Laura isn’t just our chef – she’s also a fellow traveller who understands the challenges of travelling with food allergies. For years, Laura battled frustrating illnesses with little to no support from doctors who simply didn’t take her concerns seriously. Finally, after going private, she received a life-changing diagnosis: Celiac disease.
While the initial adjustment was tough, Laura’s passion for cooking never wavered. Instead, she embraced the challenge, discovering exciting new ways to create incredible meals that were both gluten-free and bursting with flavour so she wouldn’t feel deprived of the good stuff. This personal journey is what truly sets Big Blue Fiji apart.
